charity1 0 Posted July 17, 2012 A HDR panorama stitched together from three views and multiple exposures at each view. Someone had put this ring of rock together which made a good foreground for this dawn shot. This was once an old volcano, and I always enjoy coming here. Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted July 17, 2012 The colors are beautiful but perhaps over-saturated for some viewers. The foreground appears flat & lacking shadows, which is common in HDR. Too bad, because the rocks seem to form an "S" that leads to the trees, and this "S" is perhaps not as clear as it could have been with shadow detail. I'd be interesting in seeing what you got with a single exposure. Regards, Jeff Link to comment
joseph_eiche 1 Posted July 17, 2012 Hi Robert, I think that the colors are good here for what you were trying to accomplish. The foreground rocks are lacking a little depth thanks to the HDR process but this is minor compared to the overall scene you have put together here. Nice image, nice site. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted July 18, 2012 Very nice image, excellent composition, why not try it in B&W. It would be beautiful. Unfortunately, it has a very strong HDR effect, artifacts, and over saturated colors. I can imagine this in B&W and it would be beautiful. Link to comment

joel_w1 0 Posted July 20, 2012 I really like your image. It's a strong statement full of interest for the viewer to take in, from the foreground rocks that extend up the hill, to the setting sun, and clouds in the sky. Your PP work is outstanding to say the least. Link to comment
