You've caught the action. It's not the best photo ever from a technical perspective. But you knew that already, though, right? The skater is underexposed, which is understandable in the low light of a skating rink combined with the relative brightness of the ice and background and the dark attire of the skater. Spot or manual metering might have helped.

I would consider a vertical crop as well -- perhaps even tilting it a little.
