Where I live, this is one of the most common butterflies, but even so, I think it is

beautiful.

Very well done! Nice soft mood, especially with the great DOF and subtle colors. I also like the lines that the leaves make in respect to the butterfly, they seem to accentuate the shape of the wings.

The muted soft green shades of this image are tranquil and soothing. The subject is beautifully rendered - crisp where it needs to be, and soft where it needs to be. I love the lens flare in the bokeh which adds a spark of life to the scene. Technically great, asthetically marvelous. Well seen. Well taken.
