pnital 36 Posted July 8, 2012 It is a dance in development, which its narrative tells about the damages human being are doing to our planet/earth. "Human Nitrate" is the chaned name .The premiere was already. It is crazy, with a great sense of humour and well executed by 3 skilled dancers but underneat there is a great pain!Choreographer ; Sally- Anne Friedland,Dancers : Robin Kain, Mor Bar- Zakai, Omer Astrachan. Thanks for viewing. Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 9, 2012 I like this picture quite a bit, especially the arrangement of the figures within the picture plane. The somewhat blurred and segmented foreground dancer and the anonymous but sharply defined pair in the distance, separated as they are by an expanse of floor (it's not a large space but it might as well be an ocean) create an impressive feeling of spatial depth as well as a sense of some sort of mysterious rite being performed. pnital 36 Posted July 10, 2012 Thanks to both of you !Jack, as the dance has an undernit message about us human that damage our planet, for my interpretation it is many of the faceless human being that are creating the damage as expressed in that scene. Thanks for again eloquently expressed your impressions!!enjoy reading them. Amal I hope you are well, thanks for all your comments that you know are very much appreciated.( are you still in the USA? ) Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted July 10, 2012 I admire your compositional skills that makes your images of scenes so attractive. There is a nice focus to the dancers on upper left, and the legs/arms performance on the lower right is a wonderful balance to the composition. Very well done and presented. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted July 12, 2012 Pnina, another interesting glimpse into your world of dance. So much space with parts of people but not lavish colors and twists of aesthetics. Then I see the emphasis on hands and feet -- hands what we do and make and feet where we go -- with the anonymity of covered heads that are conjoined -- so we are in this together, not simply individuals. The peacock pattern of leggings show there is beauty in people or perhaps we manufacture what is already in nature only wear it as a facade we hope will convince like a bucolic scene of cows grazing in the pastures found on yogurt and on milk boxes. I am envious of all these dances you see and how you are part of this, and they are sooo lucky to have you Link to comment
