Sulphur-crested Cockatoo antics

Interesting and unusual capture, as sulphur-crested cockatoos are usually white with a yellow crest.

Next time you see a SCC in flight take note of the under wing colour - it is a pale lemon shade. (See image below.)

Additionally, this shot was taken at 7.00pm (see image metadata) so the light had a very strong yellow cast. Hence the overall strengthening of the yellow tones.

I would have expected the yellow wash under the wings but the way the light has made the bird look creamy yellow all over is really amazing!  It's a very typical pose, beautifully captured.
