Beautiful composition.  Looks just a touch overexposed to me IMHO.

Thanks Douglas. It shouldn't appear overexposed. I am using a calibrated screen.

Also, the histograms for the image show a heavy central weighting with a strong bias to darker tones. The "highlight" part of the curve shows a smooth declining gradient.

To my eye, the tonal range looks reasonably accurate for this species on an overcast day.

I imagine you are right. Can-do!
