Geez Tm. This is an excellent example of the amount of sharpness that can be had even with a 1.4X! Crazy detail. Love the soft light. Sweet.

Thanks Kenneth! It's a hit & miss with the 1.4X series II, I am saving for a 1.4X series III since I've used a borrowed 2X series III once (for about 10 shots) and the result was very stunning. Been drooling for one since :-) - Greetings from SoCal!

PS: I used a 'better beamer' flash extender on the 580EX II and I think it helps lighted the bird nicely also.

Beautifully timed and nicely composed.  Pity the iridescence of the chin didn't come out though.   I can't tell you how many bluzzy images of these little guys I have.

Excellent capture.  Love it.  The color is also very good.  Sharp details, texture and movement.  Best Regards,
