Light in the Old-Growth Forest

The rains stopped briefly and the sky opened slightly to let a bit of light

add contrast to some of the trees in the Carbon River area of Mount

Rainier National Park. This light seems to be relatively rare here (it's either

all or nothing, and most often nothing) and I like it when it happens. These

forests are what I like to describe as a "beautiful mess," and they are one

of my favorite places to roam with a camera. Your comments and

suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Stephen-Love it, nature as it is random, chaotic . Nature abhors an empty space & rushes to fill the empty space.You have captured the colours beautifully . The details are great in the branches & I like how they seem to stand out by themselves. Best Regards-Ross
