3 photographs in this folder originate from the same image.

However, I thought I would experiment a little and see which one gets the most comments / ratings.

Please tell me what you think.

What I like the best is the large number of colors opposed to the over-exposed white plate, almost drawn in the background.. you know it's here, but can't find it because your eye cannot stay on the white with such rich colors in the foreground...Very good idea, I like what you did about color choices: all the primary colors Red/Green/Blue (3 of each) and all secondary colors Yel/Mag/Cian (one of each): !!one exception!! the orange on a single chili... And the biggest chili! very good choice. [note]: I'm wrong about RGB count... 4xR, 3xG, 2xB.. you need to swap one R for one B... (just kidding). [note2]: I'll never eat your cooking.... LOL

Hi David! For a first go at digital alteration, I'd say you must be heaven sent! The pictures are bloody good!

Thanks also for dropping by and commenting on my photo of the Twin Towers. Your comments are of great value to me as a learning photographer. I agree that the resolution I posted is garbage... sorry abt that. I've just posted another picture of the Twin Towers. My concept was to show how small we really are, compared to the mighty towers. I've a friend who's got a photo of the Twin Towers the way you described it - clouds and all. He used a shift & tilt lens (i think that's what it's called!).

Although I love nature and architecture photography, my real interest lies in people. I want to learn capturing moments in people's lives, their spirit, emotions and all. I see that you've done some people photography... looking forward to your advice when u have the time!

This was my first real experiment doing a digital alteration. There

are 2 glaring mistakes in it that I never bothered to correct. Maybe

I will correct them when someone says they want to buy it. (I can

HOPE!) Seriously though! I have had this photo on p.n for quite some

time and those that have rated it have been very kind. Is it worth

the praise? What do think of it?

Néstor,

I was just playing with this one. It is / was fun but there are a couple of glaring errors in it.

Thanks for looking.

Dave, If you look at this carefully you will see one or two glaring mistakes. The colours were the easiest part. I cut each Chilli out and the 'played' with saturation etc. I then pasted the saturated chilli as a new layer on the original picture. I like the effect but I do need to pay more attention to detail. This is something you are teaching me along with others on this site. I do think reciprication helps.

Thanks for looking.

O.K., so there's a bit of red on a blue chili and some color between a red and yellow one (and you left out the chop sticks! :D) But it really is attention grabbing. Love the appropriate spelling! -Anthony

If I wasn't a starving photographer I would buy this. So beautiful & eye catching with those colors. I like the arrangement of the peppers, the color choice and the off white background.
