In Lightroom 4.1 it is now possible to edit a 32 bit image. I think

this is going to be a great option for HDR enthusiasts This is my

first attempt at combining 3 exposures and then editing it in the 32

bit mode in Lightroom..

The larger view is just delightful with great detail and textures.  I like this image because it shows what can be achieved with HDR using a bit of subtlety and finesse. Lightroom has really advanced as a RAW converter too, I find myself using more Lightroom and less photoshop these days. Very well done Leo!

Best Regards

Alf

Selecting a spot to place a tripod by the banks of the Merced River sometimes becomes a challenge and you have chosen the right spot to photograph this place.

The runoff is explicitly rendered here with excellent details. I like the trees on the right side that seem to form a line and draws me more into the image.

Beautiful landscape and nicely rendered HDR. Warm regards, Leo

Lester

I hear you, Alf, I think LR is definitely a great tool both for organization and handling my processing. I wouldn't be without it and this 32 bit processing is just another reason to have it.

Excellent, Leo.  Love the flow and subtle use of HDR.   As always, thanks for sharing your technique.  You've made some of my photos more interesting.  Is the HDR accomplished in Photoshop?  Aloha.

What a lovely mood this image creates.  I can almost hear the water rushing and the light mist in the air.

The reddish fallen tree in the foreground really looks great against the blues of the water.
