Our sun will disappear over about 4 billion years. I see this sunflower as a surrealistic image of the limited time of life. Nice colours and indeed moody. Best regards

You've got a good range of colours and tones in the sky with some really deep violets . It's too built up for me to get a " big " sky like this . The sunflower is nice and sharp with no blur round the edges , as it should be for the main subject ! Interesting image , well worth the effort . Bill

How clever. The background adds such an aura to the sunflower. It gives the flower a very different feel. Great shot, Pierre.

Lovely shot. A dramatic background with a not so vibrant sunflower makes for a nice moody & interesting image.

Best regards.

The lovely sky is very appealing against the subtle looking sunflower which lighting is so appropriate for the scene with no harsh or bright areas. The composition too sets the desired mood being presented here.

Stunning work! Regards, Pierre.

it is moody.  i wonder if the bg could have less contrast.  you could keep it bright enough to make the flower seem obscure, but let the bg be a little less prominent.  best, j

Well seen and original presentation. Sunflowers always associating with blue sky and sunny day... Creative turn around from classic concept.
