I love the idea that the four seasons are represented by different colors. I would also like to know how you have created the different colors ... it seems that the four sets of chillis originates from a single picture. Cheers!

i appreciate the idea, but i would improve it by leaving a margin between each of the images -- i think where they run together (and into the borger) detracts from the overall image

the drop-off in the original seems too abrupt... I prefer the version with borders. Almost reminds me of Microsoft's Windows logo. ;)

Hi David! All i can say is -

Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!

I personally prefer the one with borders though. The one without the borders look nice, but strange at the part where the red joins the yellow pic & where the orange meets the green.

Great idea. nice colours. Very eye-catching.

I do have a slight reservation about the sharp edge between the shots. I like the way the bowl fades away to white, which would seem to give you the perfect way to blend all four shots together (giving the impression of 4 individual bowls). But you are missing the top and bottom edges of the bowl (unfortunately) and so the division is too sharp.

Perhaps another type of border would work to space them out?

Great, I just noticed that much of what I had suggested was already covered (since you can't see the other comments in the critique request system).

I do like the black border between all four.

If you could take the shot again, having the whiting out on all sides it would make for a more Chilli(ng) feel I think. It already suggests snow or ice.

All has been said, I like the bordered version better also. This would definitely be a photo that I'd put on MY wall :).
