A very nice shot, made even more poignant by the fact that we know it was taken in '68. That is a long time ago ...  what happened to these two in the mean time? Did they find each other? Did they find someone else? Where are they now?

Thanks for the kind words, all.  You make interesting points, Otto.  Old images do have a kind of innocent, sweet nostalgia about them don't they? And, it is fun to wonder whether this moment was part of a continuum for these two young persons that persists today. Or was it just a slice of time that, hopefully, left a fond memory?  Either way, I'm grateful to these folks for having unknowingly given me the opportunity to capture their youthful enthusiasm in my small slice of time. 1968 was a big year for me, graduated high school and met my wife of 26 years.  We been divorce for 14 years but still see each other often with the children and grands. I had a 1962 Impala and work in a hotel as a bus boy. You have bring lots of memoreis with this fantastic image.  Warm regards.
