Rick Bortnick 2,167 Posted June 13, 2012 Andrea,Nice, well done bold image. Excellent capture of a moment. Framing & composition great. Exposure good, DOF excellent. As a constructive criticism, I would suggest deepening the blacks on the floor/ceiling. This is such a stark image that I think eliminating some of the grey/midtones would really boost it. But that is me. Thanks for this one.Rick Link to comment
tonyfrench 0 Posted June 14, 2012 Andrea, I really like the starkness of the contrasts. It's interesting that the contrast seems to be greater in the mirrored reflection, particularly noticeable on the shadows of the columns. The perspective works nicely, with the panes of the mirror almost acting as the center line. While I think it would still be incredibly interesting without the figures, they add a nice touch, particularly the way they are silhouetted against the white wall. Link to comment

Un abbraccio Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted July 4, 2012 In my opinion this is the best of your three latest posts. I like the mirror image and the vertical lines which form a bit of a box for the human element in the distance near the vanishing point. The diagonal lines on either side take the eye right to them. Good choice to present in B&W. I suspect strong colours could well be a distraction here. Best, LM. Link to comment
