A man eating grapes in the dark---the impact is just not there for me.  On the plus side you do have enough light on your image that I can tell what it is.  Many who seek to produce dark, moody images wind up making dark, muddy images with nothing to give the viewer.  At least your image does have a bit of a theatrical feel to it.
