My goodness. I can't imagine any more buildings being crammed into this old city Sam.  I love the bright colours they use to paint their homes. Excellent detail!

Gail,

this view was from a largish ferry going to Porto Santo, an adjacent island.  

The city is chock-a-block with buildings of many epoques, all connected by narrow, rather steep streets.
