Thanks for viewing/comments! While shooting the Skimmers

yesterday, I notice that the water was boiling all around him as he

skim and I was wondering why. Looking at this at home (along with

another shot with a fish jump off the water) it dawn on me that the bird

chase the school of fish the the boiling water is from the fish jumping

left/right off the water to make their escape. Remind me of the AC-

130 gunship that fly and obliterate all in it's path.

Wow!  I wondered what the splashing water was about. Great shot.

Thanks Dom.! I like this a lot, not stunning as a beatiful shot but it's a great wildlife shot to me. Been shooting bird for 4 years and I have never seen Skimmer chases fish like this. That to tell you how ignorant we are of the wild world ( at least I am :-) ). 

Really, a very exciting capture that makes me want to return to it again and again. The movement creates real drama. Well seen. Great technical skill and composition.
