For over fifty years now campers in Joshua National Park have

been terrified by the Monster of the Mojave.

Until now the Monster was only seen at night by campers returning late

from a long hikes and inebriated campers relieving themselves in the

desert. It has been described as being about 15 to 20 feet long with a

lizard like body with large horns or wings on its back and resembling

an ant around the head. It was thought to be a nocturnal feeder and

rarely seen in daylight, until now.

Revealed for the first time, The Monster of the Mojave!

PS The way rumors and legends get started: mix 10 parts alcohol 100

parts imagination & fear.

I like the story accompanying the image. I have mixed feelings on the art filter used on the image. The post processing is well executed and works well with the subject. But I think I would have liked a more faithful image better. That's just a matter of personal preference though. This image might not be as eye catching without the post processing.
