The caption is in Latin and means erect cock, I gave it that namebecause out of the six or more pictures I took, on this one he stoodmost straight, but I made two or three PSD files out of the othershots and this one I almost deleted, good that I checkedfirst!

Thank you for your attention dear colleagues!

There is something quite compelling about chickens (apart from thier taste) they actaulay are an nteresting diverse Animal, I think you have presented a wonderful image showing the character of these birds, I really enjoy the fact the image is presented with the aged look, the birds are timeless.

Best Regards Pierre.

This guy appears to have a proud aristocratic personality with a stern look in his eye. A veteren of the wars no doubt!

Well done Pierre.

Best regards

Gareth.

Thank you for your comments on my shots. You are so poetic! I loved your description of my "tree in the snow" shot.

My jaded American consciousness led me to dwell a bit too long on the title of this photograph, but nonetheless it did provide me with a needed lift this morning.  In any case, I think the soft detail and the texture really make the image a winner.

Keep a stiff upper lip.

Fine art image of an old rooster, with  broken tail feathers. Almost like my mirror image. Bad mirror, bad mirror.
