With each one you transport us back in time to an era where Femininity and Beauty were important within and in one's appearance. We most often see these lovely dresses and hats in Movies these days. It is a beautiful and romantic image , but I'm a bit disturbed by the composition . Here we have two paths to make a choice of . I find my eye being dragged to the light at the top of the steps . I don't think it would make a difference if the model was moved over . Other than chopping the image in half , I can't think of a solution . Sorry if I'm being a pain , I have a thing about " conflicting interests " ! Bill

Another dazzling exercise in time travel . . .  I might agree with Bill if the light at the top of the stairs were as bright as the light behind the subject; the gold clearly is brighter than the blue.  Therefore, I don't see these areas as competing for a viewer's attention.  My take on it is simply that the path to the right is available for the subject to take if she should decide to make a sharp hairpin turn.
