Thanks. This was a long exposure to start with. That's where the blur came from and I used the "glowing edges" filter and then a layer mask to block the parts I didn't want to have glowing edges. I like that filter, but usually don't get a pleasing overall result with it. Did this time.

Interesting experiment and as much as I don't usuall go for "artistic" effects, I have to say this works very well. They look like a cross between human beings and jellyfish.
