pnital 36 Posted June 3, 2012 Another interesting place, 'building"? and composition,.It is so unusual and mysterious that I wonder what is it really? well,If you can I would love to have some information about the two of them...This one has such a nice texture, and as a mater of fact looks like a space ship from another planet....;-)) Link to comment
richard_john_edwards 0 Posted June 4, 2012 good architectural image, looks like a prehistoric bug, very well captured and presented. Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted June 4, 2012 Thank you so much for your comments, very much appreciated! Pnina, yes, it is a building. It is called "Hemispheric", a 3D screen cinema in The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. A very attractive place with wonderful architectural works by Calatrava. You can find some other pictures from this place in my folders "Study in Valencia, vol.1" and "Study in Valencia, vol.2", all images taken in Aug 2010, this one as well. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 4, 2012 Thanks for both explanations,I visited your other works and remembered even commenting on some from Valencia, but the lights and angle makes a new composition of the same place. Great work! now I will never forget the place!seen through your eyes.;-)) Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted June 5, 2012 After looking at trhis photo and reading your reply I only can wonder what is your secret in terms of mind power or mental strength to keep this kind of gem for yourself in whopping two years time? I mean that if I had been in your shoes I surely had a burning urge to publish this photo instantly after returning to home and to my PC. By no means im not criticizing you, just curious how you manage to be so cool - concerning photos like this... ;-) Needless to say this is a superb photo in every way. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 5, 2012 Spain certainly has some of the most distinctive architecture in the world, real works of imagination. And luckily you are on hand to elegantly record them and share them with us. Thanks. Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted June 5, 2012 Markku, the original colour file didn´t attract my eye in first round while back from the trip. The colour original is quite boring, I promise. Sometime I return back to old original files and trying to find something interesting for some kind of post-treatment ideas. Like the case with this one. The image is post-treated last weekend (B&W conversion, tonality adjustment, cropping for composition, and some other minor things). With some images it is good to wait with processing for some time. For example there are some Valencia´s images in the folder I would where today I am not so satisfied as two years ago and I have some new ideas with the pictures.Thank you for your time, Markku, and thank you for your comment. Dear All, thank you so much for your comments, I am glad you like it. Link to comment
