alfbailey 2 Posted June 3, 2012 I like the perspective you have for this shot, it kind of empathises with the car itself, it has great mood and character. For me the car looks tortured, and it's last fragments of life are about to succumb to the overiding forces of nature. Is tht tree really growing out of the hood of the vehicle, or is it just an illusion caused by the angle of the shot?Compliments!Alf Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 261 Posted June 4, 2012 The tree grows through the wreckage of the car, that's something our mother nature wants to tell us! Best regards Panayotis, thanks for your visit! PDE Link to comment
panayotis_papadopoulos 0 Posted June 4, 2012 Thank you my dear friends for your kind comments and flattering ratings. Alf, as Pierre mentioned the tree grows through the wreckage of the car. It's the angle of the shot that makes us wonder if it's true or not. Take care all of you! Link to comment

panayotis_papadopoulos 0 Posted June 4, 2012 Thank you Yanni. There's nothing untrue or fake about this picture, this is how it is. If you ever visit Gythio in Laconia you will see it at the entrance of the city. Take care! Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted June 5, 2012 (6) - Fabulous find and capture.I am trying to imagine a much darker sky but I am not sure. My father's first car was like this and it was black. It was parked in a small garage without a door and as the sun set, the only thing lit was two large bulbous eyes/headlights. It used to scare the living daylights out of me. These headlights are very dark but it gave me a sense of deja vu. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 14, 2012 Fantastic processing Panayotis!!! I always wish to find an old 'wreck of a car' when I scan the farmer's fields, but to find this 'unique' Photo Opportunity is probably not one that occurs that often. I love what you have done with the image. The POV makes it even more dramatic. Cheers and Congrats to you on you excellent P/P skills. All the Best, Gail Link to comment
