Donna Stavis 0 Posted June 3, 2012 Interesting title paired with this photograph of fallen leaves with aging photographs like autumn of memories ... on the way to dying out. Our lives, long after we die, can become yellowed stills reflective of moments and a fragmental memory or two -- passed along -- of what we were like, how things used to be, and then even that decomposes Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted June 8, 2012 Pnina, a fascinating and evocative image. I agree with Donna that the fallen leaves and fading photographs do create " autumn of memories". Your composition & choice of tone, make this image hauntingly beautiful. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 9, 2012 My first impression was that this was an apartment house, shot from below, the facade looming against a troubled sky. And it does have a certain relevance when seen that way, families tied togther through a shared location but each a complete story in themselves, faces glimpsed at the window in the twilight. 3m 0 Posted June 10, 2012 Moving and elegiac.... The subdued tones of the dark wood and monochrome photos, as well as the subtle lighting seem especially fitting... Link to comment
