some favorites of mine Calla-#13

Back stateside, I returned to my favorite garden to resume my Spring

long obsession with my neighbor's garden. The season has turned from

Spring to Summer, and the calla lily brood is not as lusty, nor the herd

as abundant as it used to be, but some old favorites have endured, and

late in the afternoon, as the sun sets across the buildings, it is still

possible to catch an old bird preening herself in the late afternoon sun.
