Thanks for mentioning the zoo.

This is rather a dark and gloomy shot of this Heron, obviously the habitat provided by the zoo, however in shooting in manual mode, I would have tried for a wider aperture than f11.

In PP one could have given the Heron a touch more definition by lightening the dark areas and darkening the whites.

I hope my "make-over" mirrors my words.

I've not seen a Heron with this colouring before, so thanks for sharing.
