Larry, this is very nice. Actually, I didn't like Queenstown much. Too many houses, hotels, motels and people. It came as a surprise. There is fun photo in my NZ 2012 folder taken on the wharf there, though. AG

Adrienne,   We did not like Queenstown much either.  It is way too touristy.  Ironically, the best hotel, the Rees Hotel, on our trip was in Queenstown as well as our best meal at a fish restaurant downtown.  The image is taken from the Rees Hotel.  If we were doing the trip over again, we'd probably start in Christchurch.  I will look at your image.  Thanks, Adrienne.  Let's keep this dialogue going.  Larry
