Big Cypress-Cypress Tree (View Larger)

This was taken at the Big Cypress National Preserve in the Florida

Everglades. I first noticed the warm glow that the sun was adding to

the tree bark and then quickly composed my photograph. I added a

slight Pixel Bender filter for a painterly effect.

Although I'm not noticing the effect of the filter it still looks like a painting, don't know why!
