in my opinion, the composition of the photo is great. the bridge itself serves as a visual guiding line, and the bridge takes a good proportion of the entire frame.

however, it will be a lot better if you took the photo a couple of hours earlier on that day when the sun light was warmer, softer, and shined from the east. it would flatter the color of the GGB.

you could also go there late in the evening, but will have to take the photo from the other side of the bridge

Mari, are you in San Francisco? Very good perspective ,exposure, light & shade. Last month on 27th, Golden Gate Bridge celebrated 75th anniversary.

Excellent angle highlighting the bold contrasting colors between the bridge and the sky.  Besides the main subject, I also like the assortment of geometrical shapes found throughout the composition.

Yesterday I saw The Movie The Intership with Vince Vangh and owen Wilson and it takes place in San Franciasco. It has a beautiful scene by this gorgeous bridge. The movie is lots of fun. Warm regards my friend.
