Thanks for viewing/comments! This little green heron stands on the rock at

low tide and try to catch fish from the school of fish swimming around the

rock. Every now and then he gets lucky by jumping in the water and grab

one. This time he got lucky for about 2 seconds since by the time he got

back to the rock the fish slip off his beak ...

Lucky for the fish, although a pain that will linger!

Nice, clear, action shot Tm... I like the roiling water.   Good color and moment captured.

Thanks Dennis! It's nice to catch something (such as this one) which the eyes normally do not see. :-)

Took me 3 days of shooting this fellow to realize that I can have/attempt to get something like this rather than the usual fish in the beak shot.
