Florian, I think yours is better, MUCH better. The monochrome approach provides fewer distractions. Gotta love the mysterious crop. One wonders, is she sipping a cup of tea and just enjoying the serenity , is she waiting for someone to return, or is she contemplating a refreshing plunge? Best, LM.

Florian, Ahh, got you concerned have we? Now, if I could identify the TYPE of tea she likes you'd have something to worry about. :) Best, LM.

Hehe yes, you got me worried. I was thinking last year all the time if my brain has some kind of mental leak :) :)

Nice work Florian. One thing... if you are using PS to add the sepia tone, immediately after applying it, go to edit/fade sepia(hue saturation) and try fading it to about 50-60 percent (in case you didn't know). To me these images would look better less saturated, like the first image in this folder. Of course, this is my opinion and I may be one in a million. :) Excellent image, nice calves as well and I love the view. Even if she likes tea!

Florian. This is very good. Love the composition, the backdrop and the sepia tone. All comes together very nicely. Well done!

Thanks for the hint, Anthony. I will for sure make some pictures to sepia tone, because I'm really starting to love it. But this one here is unmodified. It's the same sepia as on print. Just scanned.

This image is lovely. It says a lot without having to provide too much information. I agree with another comment - it would look nicer a little less saturated. You should experiment with it a little to see if you come up with something that you like even more.

Be sure to frame this - it will give you inspiration for future projects (and impress your friends!!)

Hey! I somehow deleted this request a time ago. I'd like to put it

up again. Any new new maybe?

Thanks!

Very interesting indeed... clever use of angle, and the positioning of the legs creates just the feeling that the person in the picture is relaxing, maybe even with that cup of tea...

Although the color isn't my taste, the tonality is quite good and the backround is softly out of focus yet still recognizable. The backround or the legs by themselves wouldn't be so interesting but together the elements create alot of tension and I feel like something ominous is about to happen any second now.
