sven l 0 Posted June 27, 2003 ooo...I like that one!...good job!...a little to much air over her head maybe? Link to comment
thomas_breazeale1 0 Posted June 30, 2003 LOVELY!!!Very good use of black tones and the lighting on the face is highly effective.I like the air above the head...it lends to a wide open magical feel. The plant lower right is distracting, should be removed.Again,LOVELY!!! Link to comment
robert_gough 0 Posted June 30, 2003 Yes, I definitely think this would be improved by reshooting it at a higher elevation. Take her to the Alps maybe ;-) Seriously, I can't decide whether I agree with Sven or not. When I look at it cropped I like it, but you have got a subtle halo thing going which I'm guessing was achieved by burning in the background. Cropping might disturb that. I think I'm leaning toward crop it.... a little bit. Link to comment
john_kanon 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Very quiet and peaceful photo. Maybe a little less space above her head would be even better. But this is certainly one I'd frame and hang on a wall For a glamour portrait in BW, it really still emits sensuality in a very strong way. Didn't know it was possible in BW. Thanks for showing me! daniel_wyeth1 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Unusual to see in a portrait only the forhead and nose illuminated. For me it spoils a good portrait. Link to comment
