Was fortunate to view and photograph Sunday's Annular Solar Eclipse.

Here's a photo montage of a few phases seen during the eclipse. Image

was made using a 400mm telephoto lens with a 1.4x teleconverter plus a

solar filter for the Sun.

This is my first attempt at capturing a Solar eclipse and I could've

done a better job of making sure all the phases were exposed to the

same tonality. Critiques/comments appreciated. Thanks for looking!

very well done. Thanks for posting for those of us not in the right part of the world to have experienced this event.

Nice image. I don't think the differences in tonality are big enough to take away from the quality. If you had not mentioned them I probably would not have noticed. If you photographed the entire cycle I'd like to see the last bit included, just to give it a sort of symmetry. Regardless, it's still good work and I appreciate you're posting it.

Thanks,

Raul

Very nice sequence and I agree totally with Raul.  And perhaps a couple of the intermediate ones could be omitted since they are very similar.
