jeffrey_hitchens 0 Posted June 28, 2003 This is a good photo, but I like the pictures you take with people in them a lot more. The boat in this photo is a little distracting. It might look better if it was more to the left. I like the sky also. There isn't too much pink so it isn't over exaggerated. Link to comment
scott_hayne 0 Posted December 3, 2003 I like the cloud creeping over the mountains, a morning shot maybe? Link to comment
cee_kay 0 Posted December 6, 2003 David, thanks for your comment. That picture at peacehaven was one of many I took there. I'm not sure why I picked that one from the rest, maybe because I felt at peace with it. I learned something important from you - which is to question myself about the shots I've made. I never really did that. Thanks for the tip. I kinda see my pictures in a different light now. About your pic.... I love how peaceful it is. Kind of hard to imagine such peace in crazy Hong Kong. Thanks for your inspiration! Cheers! Clement Link to comment
chubbs 0 Posted March 22, 2004 nice. I think less sky would be good too. this one is like a poem that has one or two to many words Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 22, 2014 This image has been here for years. I just realised I never requested a critique for it. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted June 22, 2014 Very nicely seen and captured, David! The mixed light is fabulous and is balanced nicely. The boat is a small element but makes a big difference in the composition. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 23, 2014 Jeffrey, Scott, Cee, Alexander, I suspect the people who commented on this in 2003 and 2004 will not be coming back to look at this. However, if you are looking at this. Thanks for your comments. Mark, I didn't expect anyone to comment on this from the request for critique. I am happy you have. Thank you. Link to comment
