Mixed Light (Chai Wan)

This is a good photo, but I like the pictures you take with people in them a lot more. The boat in this photo is a little distracting. It might look better if it was more to the left. I like the sky also. There isn't too much pink so it isn't over exaggerated.

I like the cloud creeping over the mountains, a morning shot maybe?

David, thanks for your comment. That picture at peacehaven was one of many I took there. I'm not sure why I picked that one from the rest, maybe because I felt at peace with it.

 

I learned something important from you - which is to question myself about the shots I've made. I never really did that. Thanks for the tip. I kinda see my pictures in a different light now.

 

About your pic.... I love how peaceful it is. Kind of hard to imagine such peace in crazy Hong Kong.

Very nicely seen and captured, David! The mixed light is fabulous and is balanced nicely. The boat is a small element but makes a big difference in the composition.
