As Jacques mentioned above, the tones are great -- although in the tumbnail version the hot spot in the clouds tends to bleed onto the tower ruined wall, making the appear washed out. Not a problem at the normal viewing modes though. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted June 26, 2003 Comments, ratings appreciated on this B&W, digital infrared image of ruined abbey. I just returned from Ireland where I photographed a number of ruined castles and abbeys with this technique. Used 89b nearly opaque red filter and cheap Nikon Coolpix 800 camera. Then in photoshop converted to gray scale, adjusted levels, some dodging and burning, then toned and sharpened. Thanks. Link to comment
