Hey Mike, I'm like Lenny from "Of mice and men". I keep a mouse in my pocket at all times! LOL! Thanks man. We stopped by the school's community yardsale when I heard the screeching from about 100yrds from the truck. Then I looked like the crazy guy running across the parking lot to grab the Canon out of it's bag to nail this guy.

I usually don't like top down lighting but it really looks good here. For some reason the hawk's feathers are really translucent and you have good detail underneath. I like the effect and the pose.

I might consider using software to enhance the blue sky. The moment is great, but the sky has a weird, greyish/purpleish quality to it.

Thanks guy for both your comments and suggestions. I don't like to color change anything is from what it originally looked like, but sometimes it gets changed some from adjusting shadows and/or contrast, so I'll have to keep an eye on it. But yeah, when he came around to my right, the sun hit him perfect for this shot. Thx again.
