Nice shot. Color is sweet. I love the framing. I'm just curious, did you do anything with shadows to increase detail on the dark aeras? Nice shot.

Kenneth, most of the processing was done in Lightroom 4 where the shadow and black sliders yielded greater detail.  The highlight and white sliders helped as well, in making the image appear as I wanted.  Shooting RAW files, of course.  Thanks for looking.  Aloha.

Whoa, a real "sun flower"! 

A really fine piece of work there Dom.  The colors, comp and dof are just super!  I don't  understand the relatively low ratings, it's "excellent" so a 7 it is.
