Dutch Windmill, Golden Gate Park (Tourists beware :).

jay belton

f/22 @ 3 secs. (Calc. 2 secs, compensated for RLF by choosing 3 secs) (200mm)

Burnt in the dome and the shingles to add more contrast.

This image is full-framed.

It was kind of funny taking this shot. So many tourists. There were literally a few who stopped and parked real quick, walked quickly down the walk way, whipped out a one shot, snapped, ran back. All while I have the tripod fully extended upwards, standing on my tiptoes, composing, adjusting, composing. And had some guy make small talk with me because eventually I was just standing there staring at the windmill with my cable release in hand. "Are you waiting for the right light?" "Why yes I am." He was trying to pick up on me actually but trying to be coy at the same time. I got a good laugh out of it. :)
