wogears 186 Posted June 18, 2012 I think this one has some of the real qualities of an 18th century miniature, while still showing the personality of the sitter. I tried, anyway. Link to comment
JohnWebster 2 Posted June 18, 2012 Great color and 3-D facial lighting. That soft beauty-light, when it occurs in nature, is really something for portrait photographers to use to their and their subject's advantage---as you have done here. It seems a pesky little puff of air blew back the lace on the far side of her bodice. I fixed this in photoshop by selecting the lace just above her bra strap, copying it to a layer, duplicating that layer so as to have enough material to cover the strap. I used the transform tool to rotate it and scrunch it into place. I erased around the edges of the lace and flattened the layers for the final result. I hope this helps. This portrait is a well done feel good image. I like it. Link to comment

margatt 9 Posted June 19, 2012 Minor flaws... noticed and corrected. The original image was well seen and well captured (what really matters). Yes, the soft light is exquisite! Lovely facial expression, super depth of field, body position... top notch stuff. 7/7 Link to comment
