terry_mccully 0 Posted June 26, 2003 Does this look good or does it look like anyother blured water shot? Link to comment

billkantor 0 Posted June 27, 2003 Terry, Nice attempt at a common subject. I agree, we all should try this and get it right. I think this one still has room for improvement. The highlights are a bit blown out on my screen. It's a very contrasty scene. Perhaps would have been better to shoot it in more diffuse light. Compositionally the stuff on the right is not of sufficient interest to merit including it. Try this one again with changes and let us know. Keep it up. Link to comment
daniel guerin 0 Posted June 27, 2003 Terry, I Like it. True, it may have been done before but there is a reason why it's done so often, it's because people enjoy 'doing' it and others enjoy seeing it. Lacking in much technical knowledge, I comment on peoples photographs with the 'would I like to hang it on my wall?' theory. It's not always the details which are important, sometimes people should take a step back and appreciate the image for what it is. That said, I think the 'splash' at the foot of the fall is a little to 'white' and perhaps taking a slighty different angle to remove some of the right hand side could turn an already lovely photograph into something even better. I like a lot:o) Link to comment
