miller1 0 Posted June 24, 2003 I worked on this for hours. It's susposed to look like a tissue paper flower. What do you think?? Elizabeth Link to comment

jmcconnell2 0 Posted June 24, 2003 Elizabeth, I just love it! But to me it looks like a very good water-color painting on the most expensive type of paper. 6/6 Jim Link to comment
richard blount 0 Posted June 24, 2003 The thumbnail doesn't do it justice, this exudes quality, I can see the time and effort you put in on it, it has lifted this flower without doubt, the colours are subtle which is good and are perfect for this although I'd change the brownish one bottom left for a slightly pinker tone, the composition is good the centre of the flower being just higher than centre and the bg is perfect. Very well done - Richard. Link to comment
patricia_eifel 0 Posted June 24, 2003 A little over-manipulated for my taste. I'm not sure I think the color selections hold together well. Link to comment
miller1 0 Posted June 25, 2003 That's what I do best Patricia.!! I could have kept going on this one. Thanks for looking & commenting. Elizabeth Link to comment
miller1 0 Posted June 25, 2003 You don't know how many times I changed the color in that particular petal. Because of the shadow, no matter what color I chose came out "muddy". Thanks for comments. They always help me. Elizabeth Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted June 26, 2003 This is really maudlin, and to be honest, not very attractive. Link to comment
jillmyers 0 Posted June 26, 2003 I have to agree that I think you've gone too far on this one. The colors seem completely random and the photoshop filtering doesn't do anything good for it. I like your more subtle ones better like the "Sherbert" one where the viewer isn't completely sure whether its been manipulated or not. Link to comment
