I don't think that is the sky, is it? An overexposed back wall? Which is what's plagueing you in this series. This shot is getting some light on the bird, but with a drastically over-exposed background. We gotta reposition your boxes to recieve that strong sun, with a BG that's not getting the same light, or at least a darker colored BG. Cause your getting some sweet shots here. Told ya you could do it. :-)

After I made the background look like a blue sky, I saw in the other series of shots that it was the wall of a building or something but not sky.

The background is my neighbor's gray stucco wall.

I don't have enough property to re-position the box. And I'm very grateful for this pair of Swallows who are continuing to put on such an entertaining show.

 

No doubt Marvin. Some nice captures from it. Well done. At the lakes and reservoirs around, the put boxes everywhere that are great for this.
