This, and the rest of your sand dune photos, are just fabulous.  Really love them.  Don't have a critique so much as just praise.  Love the compositions and love the way you have done some with lighter contrast and some with darker.  I think you nailed it on all of them.

Can I ask where these were taken?

Thanks for the compliments all. Charles, I had to think and look at what I have posted here and on my website. All my sand dune images are from Death Valley, most from Mesquite Dunes and a few from Eureka Dunes. I have shot dunes in DV three times over the last 10 years. Maybe I need to check out some dunes elsewhere.  The white dunes in NM should prove interesting in B&W. This is the first dune I have worked on as an HDR from 5 images. I am pretty new to HDR and may do more work in B&W. For me the results are still pretty unpredictable, but I kind of like that.
