There are some aspects to this photo that work really well. I like the tree (it's well-defined and provides a good focal point) and the sky is interesting with those wispy clouds.

At first, I wasn't clear whether the area to the left was water or earth (it was the photo's title that gave it away rather than the image itself). A longer exposure with use of a Neutral Density filter would have smoothed out the water and might have helped. Considering that you shot at 1/6400 though, you would have needed a hefty ND and / or some tweaking of the ISO and f/number to get a slower shutter speed.

Just some thoughts.
