and A lovely model, I think its a good shoot ,my nitpic on this one is that a bit shorter DOF to get the background more out of focus would nice too.

I don´t think you have used any flash on this one so you not limited by sync speed.The trick is to open up the lens to the max and if that don´t do the job try to increase the distance between the subject and the background. 

Try to open up as much as possible on the lens and use shorter time
instead.

Thank you Tore. Yes, I am very aware of how DOF works. I felt 5.6 was adequate for this shot. I could have always blurred the background more in PS if I had wanted to. Regards, Michael
