One of my favorite Spring Flowers is the Rebecca (Periennial). When

the bud is opening it could be hanging in a demure posture or with

it's face looking up towards the sun. I took a little drive to our Ecology

Park today and was surprised to find these pretty flowers. thankyou

for your visits, most appreciatively, Gail)

It looks like the end of a pomegranate, shrunken and on a stem with others -- never saw this flower.  I love the colors!  Very pretty design on your part and cool title too.  She looks demure.

A beautiful impressionistic painting with soft colors and just the right degree of detail . . .  The frame works quite well, too.

My best,

I'm so glad to hear you are pleased with what you see. It was warm here on the weekend, did you get out in your boat yet?? (then again there were a lot of storms circling that could have reached you).

Talk later, Gail

This could well pass as a postcard front page. I like how the flower stands out at the center of the frame, the redness and the spread of the petals for me symbolize love acceptance and care. The treatment likewise is excellent.

Wonderful colours and framing, I can visualise this as an animation, "Rebecca" first stretching slowly her arms (stems) and the gradually looking upwards to the morning sun and smiling. Delightful work Gail!

Best Regards

Alf

Nice one. The soft pastels and the more saturated colors combine to give a nice feel and sense of depth too. Very pretty.
