jamie,  this would probably be my favorite jamie kraft image.  extraordinary tree tops,  the movement is just magical,  also really like separation between  flowers and b/g. hats off mr.kraft,  wonderful work.

jamie,  hard pick between the two,  darker seems a bit more dramatic,  but on saying that,  i learned years a go that what you see here on the computer is not necessarily the same as when image goes to print,  also depends on who does the printing and paper used and all sorts of variables.  this image just knocks me socks off,  your going to have to come up with a real master piece to replace this image as my #1 jamie kraft image.  hope you take that as a challenge!

Jamie. Enchanted this certainly is - I am totally enchanted by it! The blur, the composition and the flowers are just wonderful. Really like the structure of the trees in the backgound too. Great work! Best wishes. Sarah.

there are conventional ones (most of them), wild ones ("Stargate" in "misc"), and ones like this.  i think you and roger may be right that these are the way forward.  i took one very like this on friday in Kew Gardens.  Thanks Sarah.  best, j

jamie,  just keep coming back to this one,  even as small thumbnail you can see the magic in it. the separation between focal point and b/g is very 3-D like,  also like huge contrast between focal and blur, its just so well defined.  simply a extraordinarily image!

roger - you know, it's funny, but this one didn't look so good at first.  it was pretty dark, and it needed a lot of added brightness and contrast, but the result is good, as you say.  just goes to show, don't judge too quickly.  thanks.  best, j

Pierre - to do something new with flowers is a big challenge, i now realise.  i hope i am managing to do it, at least a little.  Thanks.  best, j

but that's a blessing, i'm sure. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Surprises. Thanks Trisha. best, jamie
