black & white Arches and Shadows

Carla, the composition is improved despite the light on the right, there is enough of it to have meaning. The tonality of this image is a little hard, I like the detail of the bricks and the ceiling shows up well - Richard.

Nice shot but you've oversharped this image while processing. :-(

Is this better? Sometimes I have a have a hard time deciding when I've sharpened too much or not enough. I don't enjoy scanning. :{

A nice image. I like the way the "run down" feeling is emphasized with the plants over running the arches. Try cropping off the partial arch at the end to add a little more depth to the image. I think that the image is too contrasty and over shapened a tad.

I like B&W photos very much.
