I'm not sure about the composition of this image. For me, the mother goose either has to be fully in the frame and in focus, or not in the frame at all. The mother goose is so dominating that her presence detracts from the gosling.

I like the compositon but I would have liked if the mother's face was in focus.

Thanks to you both. The DOF being that shallow would have really slow my shutter down, but not too much I think so good point. The intention was to have a pic of the baby with the presence of the mother, but she does seem overbearing.... Hmm. Thanks to you both.
