davidmccracken 2 Posted May 4, 2012 I am not a great fan of partially coloured images. I am not a fan of chopped off digits either. Even with these glaring faults, I am thinking this does have some redeeming attributes. The question is, 'Does anyone else think so?' Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted May 4, 2012 I think the image is wonderful. As you know, I whack off digits and other parts all of the time. I think the crop here is fantastic and its tightness would have been lost by including the parts under discussion. I also am not a big fan of partial colorizing but in this case it works. -Cheers Link to comment

gsphotoguy 3 Posted May 4, 2012 I have to agree with almost all of what Owen already said. I like the basic image, including the severe crop. The composition has great strength.Lose the color, I feel it adds nothing. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 5, 2012 Owen, Sometimes things that niggle us have appeal. I am glad this appeals to you. FWIW, I do like it myself. Thanks a lot.Efim, Perhaps not excellent but it is kind of you to say so. Thanks for the look and comment.Mark, I too pretty much agree with Owen. Your point about the colour is noted. Thanks! Guest Guest Posted May 5, 2012 David, ... I am thinking this does have some redeeming attributes. The question is, 'Does anyone else think so?' The skin tone looks quite good and the background is nicely neutral. So yes, I could indeed find two redeeming attributes. Oops, I like the matt, too -- make that three. Link to comment
